Louisa Buttery was born on 12th May 2004, but within days Louisa was pale and suffering from nose bleeds and after hospital tests, aged just 3 weeks old, she was diagnosed with leukaemia.

Louisa is one of the youngest children in the UK diagnosed with leukaemia. Two years on and after a bone marrow transplant from brother Eddie and time spent in ITU, Louisa is recovering well, although is still on daily medication and follow up. Both of Louisa’s parents Davina and Darren ran the London Marathon last year to raise funds for CHILDREN with LEUKAEMIA.
