We support children and families affected by childhood cancer when they need it most.

We fund a wide range of projects that ease the burdens of a childhood cancer diagnosis. These include financial hardship grants, free accommodation for families to stay in near to children’s hospitals across the country and support programmes such as Beads of Courage UK. We also organise fun, free days out for families throughout the year so that they can spend quality time together and make lasting memories outside of the hospital environment. In 2019, 240 families attended our amazing days out, 100 childrens’ cancer wards were given access to the Beads of Courage UK oncology programme, we gave £288,000 towards free family accommodation close to hospitals and 1,263 financial grants were given to families to help alleviate the cost of cancer.
