The Amazing Great Children's Party

Thousands of children came to the party, the largest of its kind in the country.

Clowns, circus acts, comic book heroes and other costume characters were all on hand to entertain our very important young guests.

Other attractions included live music, fair ground rides, bouncy castles, face painting, a barbeque, snack packs and a whole host of other food and refreshments.

The party would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of the performers, our sponsors and army of volunteers.

It was their time, effort and generous provision of food, facilities and equipment that enabled the children to put aside their various troubles and have fun, even if it was just for the day.

Thank you to all who helped and made it a day to remember.

Ant and Dec helped too.
Comic duo Ant and Dec headed our appeal to donate £10 to sponsor a child to attend this event. You replied in your thousands.

Donations not only ensured the children had a tremendous day, but also funded the vital research that will make a more lasting difference to these children’s lives. Thanks to all who contributed.
