Date: Saturday 10th November 2007
Venue: Grosvenor House Hotel, London
Our 21st anniversary, and last ever, Paul O'Gorman Banquet and Ball.

The Paul O’Gorman Banquet & Ball was probably our most popular event – and last November's 21st anniversary Ball, proved the point.
The evening got off to a resounding start with the youngsters of the playing their hearts out while over 1,000 guests quaffed champagne and bought every Tombola ticket they could get their hands on.
One lucky guest won ‘The Diamond in the Glass’ – worth £3,500, but then went on to let us auction it for £4,000. Aren't people generous?
Our celebrity guests were as supportive as ever. If you’d like to see who was there, click on the link below or look in the photo gallery at the foot of the page.Click here to see which of our celebrity friends were there.
During dinner, Jeremy Beadle had most of our guests standing on their chairs playing one of his madcap games. Many of them even dropped their trousers at his behest!
The Auction
Some serious bidding on a selection of Auction items raised £75,000, including £10,000 for a personal masterclass with Michelin star chef Marco Pierre White.
The Silent Auction was just as popular and included a fantastic bid of £9,000 for a Barcelona Shirt signed by Thierry Henry.

It's a credit to everyone there that a staggering total of £311,000 was raised.

The Music
Needless to say, Madness were hugely popular as were the The Royal Artillery Band.
They surprised us with a rendition of the Thunderbirds theme. And, as always and regardless of nationality, Rule Britannia had us waving our flags in a frenzy of patriotism.

Johnny Howard’s Rollacoaster Plus played all those tunes 'you just have to get up and dance to’. So come 2.30am there was only just enough energy to link hands and sing Auld Lang Syne.
The end of an era.
This is the end of an era. The 21st Paul O'Gorman Banquet & Ball was our last.
It's to be replaced with something new and, hopefully even more fun. As you can see we've booked the date. Watch this page for more information.
