Venue: Villa Tiberio, Marbella, Spain

Caroline Randerson has organised so many successful fundraising events for us over the past 20 years, but this year's Summer Ball was extra special.
Caroline’s recent move from Surrey to Spain didn’t put an end to her fundraising. She decided to hold her annual Summer Ball at the famous Villa Tiberio in Marbella.
Owned and run by fabled restaurateur, Sandro Morelli, the restaurant is just a few minutes walk from the Marbella Club on Marbella’s prestigious Golden Mile and set in 6,000 square metres of formal Italian gardens.
The evening began at 7.30pm, with reception drinks, followed by dinner, wine and the evening’s entertainment.
Chris Tarrant hosted the evening and was hugely entertaining as he insulted, ridiculed and cajoled everyone throughout the auction. They seemed to enjoy it though, and gave more generously than ever before.
So generously, in fact, that an amazing £65,000 was raised. This brings the total that Caroline has raised for us during the last 20 years to a staggering £465,000. An amazing achievement.
It was a really special evening, with many old friends and supporters, including Linda Robson, making a long weekend of it. Let's hope Caroline wants to do it all again next year!
Next week we hope to have some photos of the evening for you to look at.
