We would like to offer a HUGE Thank you and WELL DONE to the dedicated staff at the Bank of Ireland UK Global Markets offices who took part in the recent London to Belfast Challenge.

Two teams of enthusiastic employees, the Sharks and the Tigers, raced to cycle and row 470 miles; the distance between their London and Belfast offices, over a four day period in early September.

The London, Belfast and Bristol offices were kitted out with static bikes and rowing machines, as employees took turns to complete stints in order to help their teams hit the 470 mile target.

The Shark Team stormed to victory, completing the distance well in advance of the deadline, whilst the Tiger Team took the ‘best fundraisers’ title.

We are hugely grateful to everyone that has been involved in this event and delighted that their hard work has been rewarded with sponsorship that has exceeded a staggering £36,000!
