Music for the Children

Recreation is a four piece indie/pop band which formed in January 2006.

Since recording their demo CD in June 2006, the band has drawn the attention of numerous radio stations and developed an impressive fan base.

Band members are Antony Fryers (bass), Andy Syson (drums, backing vocals), Simon Paine (vocals/acoustic) and Jordan Humber (lead guitar, backing vocals).

Their first gig was in March 2006 supporting indie pioneer and Inspiral Carpets front man, Tom Hingley. They’ve also supported many other great acts including The Bluetones and New Rhodes.

Recreation is confirmed as the main support for nine dates of The Bluetones UK tour and they would like to support CHILDREN with LEUKAEMIA throughout the tour.

We were impressed with the work of CHILDREN with LEUKAEMIA and will do our best to promote this incredible charity during our UK tour with the Bluetones and we'll be pleased to donate money from the proceeds of our CD sales whilst on tour.
