Gary Lineker

A friend of the charity since meeting founders Eddie and Marion O’Gorman in 1992, the popular TV presenter was only too happy to lend his support by heading our Christmas Grand Draw Appeal in 2005.

Along with the top three prizes of a Jaguar S-Type 3.0 V6, a holiday and electrical goods, 20 lucky runners-up had the opportunity to win a fabulous Sony DVD player. And thanks to our sponsors, the sellers of the winning tickets received the same prizes as the buyer!

But more important, we raised over £2.25 million towards our work researching the causes of childhood leukaemia, and supporting children in their battle against this terrible disease.

If you didn’t take part in the draw but would like to support Gary Lineker’s appeal to raise funds to help children suffering from leukaemia, please click on the link below.

Your support means a great deal to the children who will benefit.
